This is something I'm kindof conflicted on, so I'll post it here to get some opinions on it.
In the game Characters have Stats for both Robot and Alternate Modes, these are represented by Numbers. The problem I have is how many numbers I want to give them, 3 number Stats (ex. 350/200) or 4 Number Stats (ex. 3500/2000). I will note for the log (and everyone else) that cards with numbers not affiliated with Characters (basically Bases' Base Points) will stay at 4 number Stats generally.
Advantages for a 3 Number Stat Characters: 1. Harder to destroy Bases. Characters will be unable to destroy Bases easily because they would have to inflict more damage to the Bases. Defense Counters will change in how they work as well.
2. Prolongs the game. Games would go longer because Main Bases can't be destroyed as easily.
3. It would make cards that would Protect Bases from damage less needed since it would be harder to get past the Defense Counters and to overwhelm the Base in damage.
Disadvantages: 1. Mobile Bases can possibly be destroyed easier.
2. Games could go too long. The Game winning requirements would be too hard to accomplish in the allotted time limit (1 1/2 hours) (This would have to be found out in playtesting though)
Is there any opinions on this? I'd love to hear what you think!

I enjoy long games, so I would go with three number stats. Don't really have much opinion right now otherwise.

Personally, Im leaning towards 3 Stats, but the real test will be during the playtesting, if that makes it to easily for a stall win.
